A renovation and restyling project of the upholstery in the living area of the official residence of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It was a delicate and highly important task that required enhanced research and caution, considering the pieces involved and the significance of the location. In the end, the project was completed with refinement and sophistication, resulting in a cosy and pleasant environment fitting for the importance and elegance of the location.

The space stands out for the judicious use of high-quality materials, carefully chosen to complement the nobility and impact of the room. Renowned fabric brands such as French brands Nobilis Paris and Lelievre Paris and Italian brand Rubelli Venezia were selected.

The selection of fabric colours for the upholstery was made with consideration to the environment, culture, and seriousness of the Embassy. For this reason, warm tones and floral patterns were the most appropriate.

The combination of yellow fabrics, on the sofas and curtains, with the brown cushions, perfectly blend in this social area.

The standout piece in this social space is the sofa covered in deep red velvet. This shade breaks away from the warm and earthy colours prevalent in the room, adding sophistication to the environment. Additionally, this colour highlights all other elements in the space, including the floral patterned rug, the chairs with handcrafted details, and the decoration details.

To balance the visual aspect and not overload the environment, we combined other colours in the room. As a result, the armchairs were covered with a noble fabric in blue and brown tones, creating a harmonious and visually pleasing atmosphere.

In our mission to create an elegant and luxurious social area, we did not forget that a space like this should also be warm and inviting. Therefore, the selection of high-quality fabrics and warm tones made the space into something more than just an elegant area. This was the goal of our work, in which we combined sophistication and comfort to create a perfect environment for gathering and socialising.
