A project of a family villa with elements of refinement, glamour, functionality and comfort.
The Villa Leça do Balio project was a magnificent challenge due to the size of the villa: 750 m2. A detached villa with 5 bedrooms, supported by 7 bathrooms; a large open-space lounge with a living and dining area; a kitchen with a more intimate dining area; a rich wine cellar; and a basement with social and entertaining space for gatherings with friends and family.
After an initial briefing, the client asked for a house with glamour, close to the Romantic style, but functional. Thus, we concluded that the project would have to fulfil all the elements of refinement, glamour, functionality and cosiness.
For that, the creativity and design of the furniture and decoration pieces stood out in this project, not only for integrating the romantic and luxury style but for its message. With a refined design, always meeting the client's tastes, each piece was designed with attention to detail to create a unique piece of furniture in harmony with the environment.
As requested by the client, the style implemented is luxury with a classic touch. These trends are visible in the simple traces in the manufacture of furniture, with a care in the choice of materials and in the way of production, searching for the tradition of Portuguese manufacture. The most used materials were Pau Santo, brass, stainless steel with Rose Gold finish and lacquered.
The same care was taken in the fabrics' selection for decorating the living room and bedrooms. It was essential to give movement to the spaces through the use of national and international brands of renowned designers, such as Nobilis, Christian Lacroix, Casamance, Camengo, Alhambra, and Designers Guild, among others.
Lighting was also another element to take into account. For this, some pieces were created, and the articles that best fit the environment were selected, as is the case of the lamp in the dining room, by the Portuguese brand Serip.
