A turnkey design and interior decoration project designed from scratch to create a modern and unmistakable home.
The interior design and decoration of the villa in Rio Meão went hand in hand with the construction of the project. Our work coincided with the beginning of the laying foundation.
This way, we worked with the architect to create the client's vision. Thus, we were involved in designing the lighting project; advising materials, from ceramics, sanitary ware, colours and wallpapers, floor, fabrics and materials to apply in the furniture; and the furniture production with the exclusive styles to fit the environment.
The client requested the creation of a modern, futuristic home but functional and cosy. With the size of the villa, we combined the elements requested by the client and their personalities. The detached villa has 4 bedrooms, supported by 5 bathrooms; an open-space lounge with kitchen, dining area and living room; an extra lounge; a spa; a cinema room; and a basement with a living space.
On the first floor, we combined the minimalist style with a touch of luxury. For that, neutral tones were used, with accents that show more relevance, mixing neutral lacquering, such as Port Laurent marble, walnut wood and shiny copper-coloured metals.
In the entrance hall stands out a wall carefully decorated with mirrors in various geometric shapes. This is the connection point to the basement which has a more futuristic and younger style. In this living area, the warm colours were dominant but not overly so. Both in the basement and in the modern entrance hall, LED lighting was used to highlight the geometry of the mirrors.
Although the modern style is present throughout the house, in the bedroom decoration, we took meticulous care to adapt to the client's personality. With a strong need for relaxation at the end of the day, we tried to bring the family personality closer to the environments created.
